The presidency of the Leading Group is held on rotating basis by a member country for six months, currently held by Chile. Since its creation, the presidency has been held by Brazil (March-September 2006), Norway (September 2006-March 2007), South Korea (March-October 2007), Senegal (1st half of 2008), Guinea (2nd half of 2008) and France (1st half of 2009).
The Leading Group participates to the European Development Days
The Leading Group on innovative financing to fund development has the pleasure to announce that it will be present at this year’s most important event on development issues, the European Development Days.
Organised this year in Stockholm, Sweden, from October 22nd to 24th, the EDD will gather around 4000 people, 1500 organisations and delegations from 125 countries.
The Leading Group participates by holding a stand in the Development Village -a professional fair organised alongside European Development Days.
