IFFIm
The IFFIm is a massive pre-financing mechanism based on loan guarantees. It provides assur-ances that nearly 4 billion dollars will be raised over a period of 20 years for the implementa-tion of wide-ranging vaccination programmes. The funds, which are backed by the donors, are raised from private investors on the financial markets.
GAVI Matching Fund
The GAVI Alliance published a document to present clearly and shortly how the mechanism of GAVI Matching Fund works. It also shows how it can constitute a real opportunity for all the Leading Group members.
